Closet Clean Out

Join us in making a difference through our Closet Clean-Out initiative! Donate your gently used professional women’s clothing and accessories to support multiple organizations that are helping women in our community.

When you donate five or more quality items, you’ll receive a $15 in-store gift certificate as our thank you (limit one per week). Your donations directly benefit organizations like Advocates of Ozaukee, MSOE Career Closet, and Milwaukee Women’s Center’s Bottomless Closet Program.

We’re primarily seeking business and casual clothing, accessories, footwear, and sports team apparel. All items should be in excellent condition—no rips, stains, tears, or items over five years old.

This program runs through April 2025. Bring your donations to our store during regular business hours, and we’ll ensure they reach those who need them most.

Our Story

Lorain’s For Her keeps you in style. Fashion is ever-changing and Lorain’s For Her has remained on top of the trends. Lorain’s For Her has been in the fashion industry for over 65 years, originally ran by my mother – MaryAnn Johnson – for 40 years and then joined by myself – Kay Newell – over 35 years ago. I have learned that you – my customers – prefer a classic look but like it a little edgy.

We pride ourselves on finding you fashions made in the U.S.A and Canada. We look for quality and great design so expect to find styles that will last you several seasons.

We help to make the shopping experience FUN !!! Being in East Towne Mall with two restaurants, beauty salon, SIP bar, jeweler, clothing and home accessories, all in an enclosed shopping mall makes gathering with friends to shop both easy and fun.

All the merchants in the mall are small, locally owned businesses. We don’t just talk the talk, we truly walk the walk when we join the Shop Small – Shop Local movement.

Lorain’s For Her has been in the fashion industry for over 50 years, originally ran by my mother – MaryAnn Johnson – for 40 years and then joined by myself – Kay Newell – over 25 years ago.

I have learned that you – my customers – prefer a classic look but like it a little edgy.

Mary Smyth

Stylist

Mary Smyth has been bringing her adventurous spirit to Lorain’s For Her for almost a decade. She enjoys the theater and dance, but also loves to unwind with a good mystery novel.

You can be sure no matter what the event, Mary has a eye for pulling together an outfit for any occasion.

Jodi Marcus

Stylist

Working at Lorain’s for Her Jodi enjoys assisting customers in their fashion selections. She is fun and creative and loves to pull together the perfect outfit.

During free time she travels, spends time with friends and family, and enjoys being outdoors.

Megan Coyne

Social Media

Megan Coyne is seen through her videos and posts shared on social media and emails. She is a UW-Whitewater student and loves to create and share ideas.

Megan’s favorite thing is to be in store interacting with customers and learning more about the community.
